Robelle Technical Database Reference KB15376

He uses Suprtool to chain extract one unique field (which is also a Suprdex
key) into a file. He loads this file into a table, and does a chain command
with this table on the same dataset. He expected to find the same record.

Instead, he got the message "The CHAIN table item length is invalid".
Is this is known limitation in using TPI field names that are the same as
Image field names?

Lance needs to talk to Bradmark and install a new version.
Superdex, in certain versions and in certain conditions
reports a chain item length four bytes

longer than it really is.
kb 11808 also reports the same version that Lance is using, but I never
heard what version this was actually fixed in, just that it is fixed. The
problem is that dbinfo 833 reports an incorrect length.

This kb suggests trying to set the sicognos variable to 1 as a
workaround.
