Suprtool can generate HTML output directly from a database or
input file.
In its simplest form, you can write a specialized
shell
or perl script
to get a list of customers.
You can use an
HTML input form
to select the information you want to see out of our
test database. This option uses a more complex
Perl script.
Using the same perl script, you can specify the data source
directly in the URL as in
http://www.yourcompany.com/cgi-bin/sx_extract.pl?tablename=customer.
