Changes in Qedit for Windows 4.7.01
New Features
Edit Wider Files
Qedit can now edit wider host and local files. The previous limit for host files was 1,000
characters. Local files were limited to 3,071 characters. The new limit for both types of
files is now 8,172 characters.
When creating a host file,
you can set the limit in the Record Length text box of the
New Host File dialog. If the file already exists
on a host or you are creating a local file, you can change the Record Length value
in the File Info dialog.
Problems Fixed
- Guides on the Ruler bar are now displayed correctly when editing
wide files.
- Qedit now scrolls left correctly if you are trying to enter text past the right
edge of a document window.
