If you have downloaded our software, you are probably in one of these cases:

Installing a Trial Download

When you install a trial version of Qedit or Suprtool, it allows you to test the software on a specific server for a specific period of time, determined by - you should not start the install process until you have received your authorization codes, usaully by email.

You will have downloaded to your PC either a WRQ Labels format file for upload to MPE (only) via Reflection, or a binary format file for FTP upload to either HP-UX or MPE.

Select the appropriate Installation Instructions:

Installing a Production Version

When you install a production version of Qedit or Suprtool, you may already have a trial version or a previous production version on your server. The new production version will replace it.

You will have downloaded to your PC either a WRQ Labels format file for upload to MPE (only) via Reflection, or a binary format file for FTP upload to either HP-UX or MPE.

You should not start the install process unless you have received your authorization codes for the server by email. Select the appropriate Installation Instructions:

Installing a Pre-release Version

When you install a pre-release, you already have a production version on your server. The pre-release version will replace it.

You will have downloaded to your PC either a WRQ Labels format file for upload to MPE (only) via Reflection, or a binary format file for FTP upload to either HP-UX or MPE.

You should not start the install process unless you have received your authorization codes for the server by email. Select the appropriate Installation Instructions:

Installing a Qedit for Windows Client

This software is installed on your PC, not on a server. Installation is easy, just like most Windows packages.
  1. download the client from the Robelle web site. This is a self-expanding, self-installing file.
  2. execute the file you just downloaded. This is a typical Windows application install.
  3. answer the standard questions
  4. enter the authorization codes received from Robelle sales or support
